Graduation 2016
Here's to the class of 2016.
It was a pleasure working with these kids the last couple of years. Every single one of them has accomplished something amazing. Great things await you all!
The girls have made history; capturing the first CIF title in over a decade, as well as two trips to the state meet. This year helped build and create a team many will look up to and think about when they refer to El Camino's glory days. No longer will the early 2000's be the year to look to. You have set a wave for a new generation to come.
The boys have equally set an impressive standards. While we did not capture a CIF win, we did manage to put El Camino back on the map. Many victories at Woodbridge, Stanford, and Mt. S.A.C. Invitational. It was fun watching on the sidelines and listening to all the other teams talking about you guys; "Is that Noah Johnson? Which one is Avery? Is that Cory, their top runner?" to name a couple of things I heard.
This group's determination to succeed at all cost will prove to be their most outstanding characteristic.
